Arrests Made in Gilliam Shooting; One at Large

Glynn County Police, working with the Sheriff’s Office, have made two arrests in the April 2017 murder of Daniel Gilliam and are seeking a third man.

Charged with Murder and attempted robbery are 39-year-old Don Earl Johnson, Jr., 26-year-old Rahad Quayshawn Muhammad, and 28-year-old Rashad Damar Wright. Johnson is currently in the custody of the Georgia Department of Corrections, Muhammad was arrested today, and Wright is still at large.  He is considered armed and dangerous.

At around 8:45pm on April 12, 2017, officers were called to a residence at 137 Simon Drive regarding a shooting. When they arrived, officers found 30-year-old Daniel Gilliam had been shot in the chest. Gilliam died from his injuries.
