    BRUNSWICK, GA (WTOC) -
    Police in Glynn County are working to solve a murder that occurred overnight.

    Investigators say 40-year-old Peter James Alston, of Brunswick, was shot several times inside of a vehicle on Cate Street shortly after midnight.

    Somehow, Alston was able to get himself to the Southeast Georgia Regional Medical Center. That is when police were called by medical personnel to inform them about the shooting.

    Alston was pronounced dead shortly after arriving at Southeast Georgia Regional Medical Center.

    This story is too strange. The night before near the same spot was where they stopped the car and took the gun from the gun.
